Haiku Couplets

 haiku couplets ward robe hues
sun set closet

empty veranda
lovelorn moon gazing

on the telephone pole
sparrow’s chirping call

curled up door mat
greeting guests

snowfall : chill bed cover
sleepless trees

books wall, books roof
books floor: old library building

cabbage journey; leafy luggage
cauliflower: flowery gaze

in winter blanket
winter moon still chill

cold Saturday sliding
vestibule  ‘sun’ day

pencil sharp after shave
emotion waves on page

snowing snow flakes
a lake now a  big  snow flake

wood cutter’s axe
in severe ache

on the meadow I roll and  roll
and roll: the wholeness

i hold pen to pen
pen again and hold the pen

floor hiding
carpet mask

rings –stirrings
pond rippling

in air my hairs-
in air my airs-

grass hopper riding
on pony tail

spider crochet
worm admires

3:a.m. early morning dreams
cot’s legs racing

maternity paternity
knitting eternity

dead relationships
tombs still standing

shadow and myself in living pact

prayer hot breath shower

self and shadow sharing pillow

light in eyes, I stand a silhouette
